Soundscape Partnerships – First String will develop partnerships between musicians and
composers or arrangers to create unique soundscapes. These partnerships are particularly
relevant in the world of film and video, where a visual product could demand the creation of

After completing several projects with Karen and her First String group, there is a consistency I have come to depend on. I can always count on the session being a no – compromise situation – incredible, A- list players with beautiful instruments laying down my charts with passion. There is never any apathy about the music, and when things are most difficult, they really dig in.
